Welcome to Bowzer's.

Bowzer’s was started in 2010 when we were trying to find healthy treats to give our dog Bowzer during training. Even the “healthy” recipes we found to bake your own seemed to be filled with wheat flours, cornmeal, and sugars. Bowzer had literally lists of allergies and most of what we found to give him wouldn’t be safe for him.

Tapping into my background in canine nutrition, we started to develop a line of all natural and organic treats. We use only human grade ingredients and nothing artificial. Most of our treat line is grain and gluten free. Items that contain a grain will never have corn or wheat products in them. Any sugars are natural from organic honey and the only preservative we use is sea salt for our jerky’s. Sea salt is a healthy salt for dogs.

All of our treats are tested on humans and dogs. In fact, every batch is handmade and inspected for quality and taste. Our products are U.S.A. made and when possible, we get ingredients from local Colorado and regional farmers. All ingredients are listed on our treats as well as a guaranteed analysis that we get from a food lab that tests all of our products after they are created.

Putting our talents together: a dog trainer with a nutrition background (access to lots of taste testers), a chef (the human kind), and Bowzer (our loveable drooling hound), with our passion for creating healthy, tasty treats, Bowzer’s was born.
